Q: How much is the IELTS Review at Brainstorm?
A: Our regular Review for the "UNLIMITED TEST-BASED REVIEW" is P7,950 (Review Fee + Miscellaneous), but we also have promo rates of 40% to 50% Review Fee discount from time to time.
Q: What Band Score do I need to pass the IELTS Test?
A: The Band Score requirement varies from one country to another among those requiring the IELTS Test. It also varies with your VISA application. For example, as of this writing, the United States require Nurses to have a minimum score of 7 in Speaking and 6.5 Overall Band, but Australia and New Zealand require 7 Band Score in all the sub-tests. Don’t worry, "NO COUNTRY IN THE WORLD REQUIRES A SCORE OF 9 in IELTS". There’s also no evidence that you will be less successful if you get only the minimum score. Our advice is, "Don’t Pressure Yourself to get a Band Score of 9", what’s important is you PASS.
Q: When will the review start and when will it end?
A: The review may start upon enrollment or whenever you desire. You just need to have an Orientation of the IELTS Test First. The review will last until you take the IELTS Test.
Q: If I enroll in your Baguio branch, can I join the review in La Union whenever I go surfing?
A: Yes you can, but please bring your enrollment form with you and a valid ID on your first visit.
Q: If I review at Brainstorm, can I review until I pass for free?
A: That is a question we need to clear out. We offer UNLIMITED "TEST-BASED" REVIEW SESSIONS Until you are ready to take the IELTS Test. That means, you may review for 3 months, 1 year, 5 years or even more if you think you are not yet ready and confident enough to take the IELTS Test. We also offer 2nd REVIEW FEE FREE in case you do not make it the first time. It means that your Review Fee will not be collected for your 2nd review with us and you will again enjoy the UNLIMITED TEST-BASED REVIEW SESSIONS like you previously had until you are ready to take the Test. We do however, collect the Miscellaneous Fee that will cover for the Review Materials. This is a far better option than taking the Test and paying the Testing Fee of P8,640 everytime.
Q: If I enroll in the Unlimited IELTS, will it be transferable to my wife if ever I get the job abroad?
A: Yes, it is transferable to any one of your family and friends provided you haven’t started your review yet. However, if you have started a Review session already, it is no longer transferable but you can still continue your review once you get back home.
Q: I saw from your flyers that you are offering 40% discount in IELTS. I am planning to review there for the Unlimited Review but I am leaving for the Middle East in two weeks and can only review here for about a week. Will you still give me the discount and will I still be enrolled when I come back here in 2 years?
A: Yes, of course. We had the same situation as yours way back in 2004. This is really ONE OF THE ADVANTAGES YOU GET WHEN YOU ENROLL AT BRAINSTORM.
Q: You seem to be more expensive than others?
A: Yes, we "SEEM" to be more expensive than others but, you will soon realize that you will get MORE THAN YOUR MONEY’S WORTH. Besides, QUALITY ISN’T CHEAP at all.
Q: Do you collect any other fees for mock interviews or for checking the Writing?
A: That sounds funny. No, we do not. The fee we collect for the Review is all inclusive of the UNLIMITED One-on-one Speaking Review and the Checking of ALL your Writing Practice Tests.
Q: Can I get a refund if I change my mind about Enrolling in your Review Center?
A: Yes, absolutely. Please read and understand carefully our Refund Policy on the Enrollment Form before signing.
Q: Do you give lectures on grammar and American Accent for IELTS?
A: We correct your grammar and structure right away with the Speaking and Writing Tests. We do not, however, give a full day lecture on Elementary English or Accent because we feel that it would be an INSULT TO PROFESSIONALS and students needing the IELTS Test. We focus more on Test-based Practices on all the sub-tests to prepare you and help you gain confidence to take the actual IELTS Test. Besides, Elementary English lectures will not justify the UNLIMITED Review we are offering. Any lecture on grammar and/or accent is just incidental but it is never the focus since every PROFESSIONAL has finished at least 12 units of English in College added to the 10 years of Elementary and High School English.
Q: Is Brainstorm the Best Review Center for me? If so, how come you don’t claim to be the BEST REVIEW CENTER?
A: What a question. Any answer to your first question will remain opinionated and biased, so we want to steer clear of that. We can, however, assure you that if you enroll at Brainstorm, we will give BEST Review we can give you within the bounds of our capabilities. Regarding your second question, you certainly hit the right word, "Claim". We do not Claim to be the Best Review Center because we are not, and NO OTHER IS. The reason is there are no Organizations in the world, let alone the Philippines, which award "The Best Review Center", unlike the Oscar Awards in Hollywood which awards the "Best Picture" of the year or the Grammy Awards which gives credit to the “Record of the Year”. Furthermore, we are proud of our Achievements because they are the fruits of our hard labor and not just hype. Brainstorm is a very CREDIBLE Institution. We have planted the seeds of Trust, Confidence, Honor and Loyalty to our reviewees and so we are reaping the fruits with their success. We do not want to tarnish our reputation with a silly “self-proclamation”. Besides, we are not DESPERATE to claim anything and everything we have not earned or achieved. We are very sorry if we disappoint you, but you will never ever expect Brainstorm to be claiming anything that is not true or anything unachievable.
